Cunnane Group, Inc. is a family owned and operated homebuilding company that has been building homes and developing traditional style communities since 1984. The Cunnane Group strives to build a team of the highest skilled people and business partners at every level of the organization. John, Lance and Scott Cunnane and their sister Nadine Di Iorio, have been the driving force behind two very successful building and development companies, Cunnane Development Corp and Cunnane Group Inc. They are fourth generation builders and contractors.

Their great grandfather, F.P. Mirabelli founded Grandview Construction in New York in 1903. By the mid - 1930's, Grandview Construction was one of the largest landscaping firms in the country. During the forties, Grandview became a nationally recognized improvement contractor, building airfields, cantonments, airports and army camps for the war effort.By the 1950's their grandfather, G.J. Pacchiana, founded the Thalle Construction Company Inc., a company that became one of the New York Metropolitan area's largest and most consistent heavy construction contractors. During the 1970's, G.J. Pacchiana, founded and was the first Chairman of the Hudson Valley National Bank (ticker: HUVL). 

In the 1970's their parents, John T. and Elaine Cunnane, began development work on their first community. They later formed the Cunnane Development Corp., the predecessor to Cunnane Group Inc., building and developing luxury homes in New York's Westchester County. The Principals of Cunnane Group Inc., gained valuable experience at Cunnane Development until John T. Cunnane's retirement in 1991 when he passed control to John P., Lance, Scott, and Nadine. 

In 1996 the Cunnane Group moved their corporate base to Charlotte North Carolina. Since that time, the Cunnane Group has constructed over 1,000 homes in the Carolinas and has developed some of Charlotte's most notable new neighborhoods. The company has been consistently listed as one of the 20 largest residential builders in the Charlotte region.
